The net tuition and fee rate is guaranteed not to increase in the future, as long as the student is continuously enrolled at Lincoln College as a full time student.  Moreover, available grant money allows many students who come from families with income at all levels to attend Lincoln College.  Regardless of income, academic based scholarships ranging from $3000-$8000 are available.

New Student Academic Scholarship

New students are eligible for academic scholarships ranging from $3,000 – $8,000 based on a review of the ACT score and high school grade point average.  There is no separate application required.  Transfer students are not eligible for this scholarship.  The following awards are based solely on academic performance without regard to financial need.  Award levels are guaranteed for qualified students whose admission applications are completed by July 1. This Academic Scholarship requires full-time attendance (12 or more hours per semester) and must be applied toward tuition only.

Transfer Scholarship

A scholarship ranging from $2000-$8,500 is awarded to new transfer students who have earned a minimum of 24 transferable semester hours and has a grade point average ranging from 2.0-4.0 from an accredited college or university.  The Transfer Scholarship requires full-time attendance (12 or more hours per semester) and must be applied toward tuition only.

Opportunity Grant

Students who complete the admission application process, the FAFSA by March 9, 2016, pay the enrollment deposit, $125 housing deposit (if applicable) by June 1 and participate in a new student orientation prior to July 1 will be eligible to receive a $1,000 grant with the opportunity to double to $2,000.

Transfer Excellence Scholarship

New transfer students that have earned a minimum of 45 transferable semester hours and that have a grade point average of 3.6 or above from an accredited college or university will be automatically awarded an $8,500 scholarship. The Transfer Excellence Scholarship requires full-time attendance (12 or more hours per semester) and must be applied toward tuition only. If a student enrolls mid-year (e.g. Spring term), they are only eligible for ½ of the academic scholarship.

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

New transfer students (24+ transferrable hours) who have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and who have been recognized for their academic performance through membership in the Phi Theta Kappa Honorary Society are eligible to receive a $1,000 Scholarship.  The Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship requires full-time attendance (12 or more hours per semester) and must be applied toward tuition only. If a student enrolls mid-year (e.g. Spring term), they are only eligible for ½ of the scholarship.

Endowed and Annual Scholarships

  • Students must apply for endowed and annual scholarships and submit all required supporting documents.
  • Endowed and Annual Scholarships can be applied to the student’s out of pocket costs.
